For Partners: American Pathways
American Pathways, a two-year project launching in summer 2020, is designed to highlight the stories of groups who have faced and/or are currently facing discrimination with regard to immigration policy. It explores and celebrates the stories of Muslims living in America — both people who are recent arrivals and those who are long established in this country. It also documents the stories of asylees and refugees, as well as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) recipients living in America.
Stories recorded as part of the project will be archived in two collections: the Migrant Voices Collection and the Anwar Collection of Muslim Voices.
