Thank you for taking the first step!
You are now signed up to receive email updates about One Small Step, StoryCorps’ effort to remind the country of the humanity in all of us, even those with whom we disagree. But, to participate in a conversation, you still need to apply to be matched. Apply today!
More About Participating in One Small Step
Anyone, anywhere in the United States can participate in One Small Step. Currently, we are paying special attention to our work in three Anchor Communities (Fresno/Central Valley, CA; Richmond, VA; and Wichita, KS) and six Radio Station Hubs (Detroit, MI; Wilmington, NC; Ignacio, CO; Grand Marais, MN; Atlanta, GA; and Chattanooga, TN). If you live in one of these Anchor Communities or near a Radio Station Hub, you are more likely to be matched quickly.
Due to the current demand for conversations, if you identify as politically conservative, you are more likely to be matched quickly.
To participate, apply to be matched. If you’d like more information before applying, visit How to Participate or FAQs about One Small Step.
