"One evening I came out the gate. It was raining. I had a long black Buick with fenderwheel tires on each side. I saw this pretty young lady with an umbrella waiting for the bus, so I opened the window and said 'can I give you a ride? ' She said 'no thank you.' I thought that was a pretty good sign of a fine young lady. So the next day I talked to the head of the secretaries in the engineering department and she said 'Mr. Davis, I think I know who that is, would you like to meet her'-- I said, Yes I would.
Anyway, that was Joanne Durr and she finally was my wife. And we had a great married life, yeah.
