What’s up, I’m Danny Johnson, and I’m gonna talk about my granddad. He was the greatest person in my life. He never gave up hope on me and he always been there for me. Every time I think about him, I just, that’s it – God, God, it was not the right time to take him. I thought I couldn’t go on with life. I just lost it. I couldn’t go on because he was gone and I was about to lose it. I didn’t want to continue on what I was doing, on everything I was accomplishing in my life, after I heard the bad news I just wanted to give up, but no. Like he always told me, never give up in life, if you’re down, at your smallest point. So I took them words, and here I am today. Having fun.
I’m surprised I’m in high school, one of the most great accomplishment of my life, now I’m trying to make a new goal, graduating out of high school and going to UIC because he told me, never give up and he wanted to see me accomplish my dream in life. Don’t be a bum. So I make sure his words don’t go in vain.
Right now I’m doing good, trying to keep up, keep my head up, keep my head up from my family, to go on. So I’m just doing great. Do great in school, do whatever I need to do for my granddad. And when I graduate out of high school, Imma make sure I graduate out of college so my granddad can look down on me and say he’s proud of me. That’s all I want to hear from him before I leave this planet, I just wanna hear he proud of me. That’s all, that’s it.
