A memorable moment was when my apartment was about to burn down. I was sitting in my room talking on the phone and my mother came in my room and was like, “get dressed, get dressed,” so I had to hurry up and get dressed right in the room in front of my mother and sister but we were the only three left in the building. I heard police and firefighters and an ambulance right outside my apartment. Firefighters were risking they lives trying to hurry up and come get us, but unfortunately, they didn’t come and get us in time.
Next thing you know, windows and stuff started busting out, and I got really really scared. My mother was crying, my sister was crying, because they thought I was gonna have an asthma attack because I have asthma and the smoke was getting into my lungs. So finally firefighters came up the stairs. I was the first one they grabbed and they took me down to the steps, put me on the firefighter truck and put the asthma pump on me. So then, after they put it on me I was crying because I was worried about my mother sister because they was the only two in building and the building was about to burn down. So they finally come out the building and put me on the stretcher and rush me to the ambulance. And then I was getting the medical care that I need because I was about to have a asthma attack. And that was a memorial moment for me.
