On November 7, 2011, the Nine Network of Public Media hosted the first Teacher Town Hall for American Graduate: Lets Make it Happen. PBS NewsHour’s Gwen Ifill moderated the event, and the StoryCorps National Teachers Initiative MobileBooth was there to help kick things off by asking local educators to thank the teacher who impacted them most. Following the Town Hall, StoryCorps recorded the stories of St. Louis teachers in partnership with Normandy School District, Shearwater High School, and Gateway Institute of Technology.
