On November 18, 2011, Detroit Public Television hosted its American Graduate Teacher Town Hall, broadcast live and moderated by PBS NewsHour’s Hari Sreenivasan. StoryCorps invited teachers in attendance to thank a teacher who has had an impact on them. StoryCorps will return in 2012 to record the stories of teachers in Detroit.
