<description>My sister Lisa Penelton and I interviewed our mom Barbara Penelton on Friday October 3, 2008. It was an amazing experience. We are all NPR members/listeners and I couldn&#039;t believe that I waited so long to participate in the project. Working with Carl and Alex almost immediately put us at ease. We are already making arrangements to reserve the StoryCorps kit to interview our grandfather. This effort is a great way to pay tribute to a loved one and also to preserve vocal memories and perspectives that are so precious. Keep up the good work and thanks!
