About Yazmín

Door-to-Door Facilitator Yazmín Peña served as Managing Editor for Revista de la Academia, and is the co-editor of Carlitos Magazine: Start the Change as well as the Queer Convention chapbook. She recently received her MFA from City College, and is currently working on Challenge #18 from her "30 Challenges Before Hitting 30" List—learn to play the guitar. A Brooklyn resident for the last fourteen years, she still misses her native Dominican Republic and proudly holds the title of “Best Aunt, Ever.”
