Yes, Brett’s sandwich is bigger than his head. The muffuletta is a classic New Orleans specialty sandwich filled with provolone cheese and Italian meats. This delicacy is said to have been invented at the Central Grocery in 1906, and it would be hard to leave New Orleans without eating one. Then again, it would be hard go anywhere AFTER eating one, so our conclusion is that when you come here, you have to stay a while.
