Living the nomadic life, Toccarra Thomas has either lived, interned, or attended school in almost every state on the east coast. Formerly a Smithsonian Research Training Program fellow, a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, a Smithsonian Minority Intern and a recent graduate of Smith College, Toccarra is gearing up for her final year of studying to complete an M.A. of media studies at the New School.
