Soo Na Pak, born in Seoul, grew up in both southern Corea (Korea) and the east coast of North America. She received a Fulbright grant to Corea in 2005, and later worked with young women in Washington, D.C. as a reproductive health trainer and mentor. Her writing has been published in larger anthologies as well as community-based zines. A self-published book, Child as Gift of Amnesia, is companion to her experimental documentary, "The Silence Between Oceans." Soo Na received her B.A. from Hampshire College.
