Sara grew up in the small town of Guilford, Connecticut along with 1 sister, 1 brother, 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 8 chickens. But no, she did not live on a farm. Fond of small town life, Sara headed up to Lewiston, Maine where she received her B.A. in Women and Gender Studies from Bates College. After spending many a summer at home serving up roasted clams and lobster at The Place Restaurant, Sara made the move to the big city in the fall of 2007, when she joined the Corps. From Outreach Intern to Data Assistant to StoryCorps Alaska Coordinator, Sara is now a proud member of the Mobile Department. When she's not facilitating, Sara enjoys singing, baking, and napping. Her favorite food is muffins!
