Nina hails from Southern California where she grew up on Titoís Tacos, brilliant sunsets, and a healthy dose of public radio. No stranger to the Corps, Nina first served in the Peace Corps in Romania (2002-2004) teaching high school students. Prior to joining StoryCorps, Nina worked on the Emmy-award winning documentary, Autism, the Musical, and most recently, to her astonishment, she finally completed her MFA thesis in nonfiction at The New School. Nina is currently trying to figure out which Corps to join next.
