Nzingha Garner grew up in the Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey, and studied at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Nzingha's adult life has been dedicated to her children's physical, mental and spiritual development and to her work with non-profits, which include the Watts Summer Festival, Brooklyn Legal Services and the Brownsville Multi-Service Family Health Center. She has launched entrepreneurial projects, most recently, her organic pie business, Delicious Laughter.
