Kate Wingate hails from Wild, Wonderful West Virginia, now transplanted to Nashville, Tennessee. Besides her work as a full-time mother of two, Kate has authored two non-fiction books for young adults, and is a local organizer for the non-profit organization Mothers Acting Up. In her spare time, Kate can be found variously changing diapers, visiting her Members of Congress, and walking on stilts.
