Kemba Bloodworth was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She received a dual degree in justice and policy studies and peace and conflict studies with a minor in African-American studies. In North Carolina, she produced and interviewed for FrontPage, a show highlighting local non-profit organizations. She has worked on and off camera with Oxygen, MTV, NBC, and FOX. Currently Kemba is creating SCM, an arts collective for youth in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood in Brooklyn. She is thrilled to be a part of the StoryCorps team.
